Mediterranean crossing: At least 3 die, including 2 children

A tragic Mediterranean crossing claimed the lives of two young children, aged 3 and 4, and an adult after their boat's engine failed off the coast of Libya. The German aid organization RESQSHIP rescued 59 survivors, many suffering from critical injuries, from the same vessel near Lampedusa.
